Our goal is tenant satisfaction in shopping centers with excellent visibility, accessibility, attention to design and detail including front facing signage to provide all tenants with maximum street exposure. Great attention is paid to tenant mix with intent to achieve a synergy that benefits all tenants.

Our Philosophy

All phases of development of new properties are handled “in house”, inclusive of site selection, construction, leasing, and property management. Each construction project has its own superintendent and project manager. With our experience and success rating, you can feel comfortable knowing who you are dealing with and can expect results.

Martin Heise has been headquartered in Boca Raton for over 35 years. Mr. Heise, a State of Florida Certified General Contractor, is the principal of City Construction & Development and its affiliate, Spanish River Construction, Inc. He is also a principal in numerous companies that own shopping centers throughout Florida and he has been involved with the development, general contracting, leasing and/or property management of these shopping centers as well as properties located in Wisconsin and the Washington D.C. area. This portfolio of properties consists of many highly successful shopping centers located on high traffic roads in prime retail locations.

Nancy Butler, our Director of Leasing, has been with City Construction for 14 years.  Prior to that she has served as Leasing Director and Representative for many major developers in South Florida and has handled projects from the Northern Panhandle, Treasure Coast, South Florida  and throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties. She is well known in the leasing industry. She has placed many major tenants, start ups, franchises, etc. in a multitude of existing centers, handling all aspects of leasing throughout initial contact, lease negotiation and preparation to execution.

Christine Anasagasti is our manager of real estate acquisitions who seeks out vacant land and improved properties. Christine knows location is essential to successful business and strives to find properties in high traffic, prime retail areas. Christine has been with the company since 2017 and is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Florida. Christine holds a BBA in accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
